Beethoven In Popular Culture

I was talking recently to a music lover at the mini-recital I gave at the Swedish Ambassador’s place in Paris, and he told me about the movie called “The Barber” in French which had many Beethoven Sonatas played in it. It gave me the idea to write a little about this, since aside from music, I am a little obsessed with movies and movie-making.

As you know, Beethoven’s music is everywhere, and is used a lot in popular culture. Here are some examples I would like to share and muse a little about:
